Mountain biking in the Val Gardena Dolomites

Mountain biking in the ‘realm of the pale mountains’ – a real pleasure for any cycling fan! Particularly in Val Gardena and on the neighbouring Alpe di Siusi mountain pasture. Veritable bike heaven, comprised of quick single trails, steep forest trails and mountain passes to get the adrenaline pumping. A mountain bike tour on one of the Dolomite mountain passes is not to be missed! Passo Gardena, Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi and Passo Campolongo are accessible between early-June and mid-October.

30 well-indicated tours in varying difficulty levels. Some technically challenging, some more for pleasure cyclists – all are diverse and unique. A network of trails stretching over approx. 1,000km awaits you between our hotel in Santa Cristina Val Gardena and the Siusi pasture’s high plateau. The cycle tracks start at 700m above sea level and climb to 2,450m, with panoramic views as standard. The Sassolungo, our ‘home mountain’, is also always in view.

A high point for passionate and, above all, physically fit mountain bikers is, without doubt, the Sellaronda. In the winter, it’s a ski carousel, in the summer, a highly challenging mountain bike tour. A tour which can be started comfortably from Selva di Val Gardena, right next to Santa Cristina Val Gardena, and which works equally well when taken clockwise or anti-clockwise.
